Debtless In Seattle

So the big topic going on is the gas prices, how do you fit the rising prices into the budget? We saw the prices going up last year and something told us to get rid of our gas guzzler “it had a Hemi” We down sized to a $330 car payment! I would try to sell the new car but we would have to take a loan to make the difference, and even though Dave Ramsey said you can get a loan to pay the rest of the debt even with bad credit, I sure don’t see that happening, we have been turned down by about everyone. We could get a loan for a new car but that just makes more debt and no sense!

We have to laugh, so here is where we use to be….Enjoy!!

We placed our credit cards into a debt management program some time ago. They are a reputable company Money Management International and we have had no issues so far.

I wonder now if we did the right thing? and can we continue with it! We are living paycheck to paycheck and I think wow that just under $1000 going towards MMI and Credit Cards would really help, but then we would still owe the cards.

Oh Well we owe we owe so off to work we go!

I have to always remind myself that not everyone knows the amount of debt we are in. So if you look at me or us your first thought really isn’t “LOOK AT THEM CAN YOU BELIEVE THEY OWE SO MUCH” Then I see other posts of people who owe more or who owe less with less income. Or I see the news where another soldier dies and I think about the families and our military and really how luck we are to have a home and a bed to sleep in.   

We are not just starting with this debt but this is the amounts as of May ‘08 that we owe. When I look at the totals I am dumbfounded HOW DID THIS EVER HAPPEN? 

I have added a few that I have found helpful, this debt thing really sucks and it is nice to see others finding their way out….gives me hope!!!

Things kinda crashed when I updated last so I had to do a fresh install. Hopefully I should have everything back up soon.
